WOLFIS, Mrs. Stijntje “Tina” Kalamazoo, MI. Went to be with her Lord Saturday morning August 20, 2011. Tina was born May 28, 1934 in The Netherlands a daughter of Jacobus and Hiske Laanstra Oosterhuis. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1961 and was a member of Haven Reformed Church.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother Gerrit. On March 13, 1958, she was united in marriage to John Wolfis who survives.
Also surviving, 2 children, Eppe Ann Wolfis of Richland and Amanda Douglas Dubay of Wayland; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 7 sisters, Willy Gerrit Groenewold of Kalamazoo, and Ge, Ina, Jelly, Janny, Ida, and Enny all of The Netherlands; a sister-in-law, Trieny; a brother-in-law, Hank Gwen Wolfis of Richland; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
