Age 64 of Elsie passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at his home.A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Nelson-House Funeral Homes Martin Chape. Burial will follow at Marion Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends that day from 10:00am until the service.Steven was born on September 6, 1953 to Paul and Marie (Johns) Pupava in Pontiac. He married Sandy Ostrander on August 29, 1981 in St. Charles; they celebrated 36 years of marriage this year.Steven was employed as a Factory worker for many years. During his life, he enjoyed working on cars and tractors, watching NASCAR, and giving his grandkids sweets. Steven was known for his sense of humor, and he was always joking around with his friends and family.Steven is survived by his wife, Sandy; his children, Scott (Karissa) Pupava, and Shana (Justin) Filkins; his grandchildren, Annika, Kyra, Kane, and Declan; his sister, Margaret Pupava (Robert Woody); his brother, Daniel (Vicki) Pupava; as well as many nieces and nephews.He is predeceased by his brother, John Pupava, and his parents.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
