Steven W. Rice 66 of Moberly passed away Friday December 10, 2021. He was born February 22, 1955 in Moberly MO to the union of James and Marian (Downing) Rice.
He married Lisa Lessley, July 16, 1983 in Moberly and she survives of the home. Also surviving are a son, Zachary Steven Rice of Columbia, his daughter, Kellyn Rice of Columbia, mother, Marian Rice of Moberly two grandchildren, brothers, Patt Rice of North Carolina and Tim Rice of Fayette, MO, sister, Debra Baird of Georgia, a brother and sister in law, Phil and Pam Lessley of Columbia, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Steve was a long-time employee of 40 years of Southwestern Bell Telephone and AT&T, in Telephone and cable repair, and later in Information Technology. He was a family man who loved to fix things around the house and work in the yard, and an avid fan of St. Louis Cardinals baseball and Kansas City Chiefs football. He fought until the end and passed away surrounded by family and loved ones, and will be missed by many.
