Steven Sanders of Crawfordsville died Wednesday at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. He was 55.
Mr. Sandes was a civil engineer. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and a graduate of Texas A & M University.
He was born April 27, 1956, at El Paso, Texas, to Fred Ray and Kathryn (Lichtenberger) Sanders.
He married Diane Martin on Oct. 2, 2010. She survives.
Other survivors include: his mother, Kathryn Sanders of Grapeland, Texas; sons, Tyler Barrett Sanders and Steven Logan Sanders, both of Riverton, Ill.; brother Barrett Sanders of Elkhart, Texas; and sisters, Leilani Clark of Pflugerville, Texas, and Ayesha Jeffries of Loveland, Colo.
