Steven Ray Davis, 58 of Centralia passed away, Thursday, January 4, 2018, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. Steven was born May 5, 1959, in Centralia, the son of William Davis and Lillie (Casner) Davis. He married Jennie (Rollinson) Davis in Centralia and she preceded him in death on March 25, 2007.
Steven is survived by his special friend Toni White and family; one sister: Linda Chapman and husband Richard of Centralia; aunt: Shirley Harting of Centralia; two nieces: Amanda Heath of Centralia and Melissa Defend and husband Ryan of Centralia; one nephew: Tom Chapman and wife Savanna of Patoka; three great-nephews: Jorden and Ayden Heath both of Centralia and Beau Chapman of Patoka; two great-nieces: Lillie and Brylee Defend both of Centralia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jennie and a great-niece Alyssa Heath. Steven was a member of the Mt. Moriah Christian Church and served as a deacon for 20 years. He was also the caretaker of the Church Cemetery for many years. Steven and his father, Bill Davis, owned and operated Davis Radiator Service in Centralia for 34 years. He enjoyed collecting knives and going pheasant and squirrel hunting.
