Steven Michael Yeisley, 38, of Rockville, MD, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 4:15AM at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville. He was born on January 12, 1979 in Washington, DC, to Richard and Valerie Yeisley.
Steve was a beloved history teacher, first at Neelsville Middle School in Germantown, MD, and then at Northwood High School in Silver Spring, MD. His students would recount how he made history come alive, but more importantly, how much he cared about each of them individually and in making their lives better. Steve truly impacted the lives of so many people in Montgomery County over the past 17 years.
He married his true love, Jennifer Marie on July 11, 2011, in Frederick, MD. Everyone who came in touch with Steve noted how outgoing, caring, and genuine he was.
