Mr. Steven M. Posick, 80, also known as Sam, was born September 22, 1935 in Waterbury a son of the Joseph and Anna (Lutze) Posick with three siblings, Julie Lehmann of Hickory, N.C., two brothers: Joseph Posick, Jr. of Waukesha, WI and James Posick of FL, and 8 grandchildren. Born in Union City, Steve’s family relocated many times in Connecticut, including moves to Riggs St. in Oxford, Jeremy Swamp Road in Southbury, then Purchess Hill in South Britain. Later, the family moved to Harrisburg Pennsylvania, followed by a later move to a town outside of Gettysburg. Moving back to Southbury, Harold Hickock Farm, and then settling in Oxford Ct, Route 67., until he was married. Throughout his childhood, he worked many different jobs, including working on farms, carpentry, the Sponge Rubber factory, Foxes Garage, and Town Line Motors. Steven graduated from Woodbury High School in 1953. Shortly after getting married at the age of 21 to Yvonne Posick, Steve opened a used car lot and body shop on Main Street Beacon Falls, specializing in muscle cars in the sixties through the seventies. Later moving to Lopus Rd., he then built an auto shop on 450 Lopus Rd., later building a home on the same property, Steven M.
