Steven grew up in California and graduated high school there.  He was drafted into the United States Army in 1972.  He earned the rank of Private before he was injured and honorably released in May of 1973.  He was so proud of his service to his country.

After his service he came to Utah.  He used his GI bill to earn an Associate degree at Weber State.

He married his best friend Sandra Nyman on January 27, 2006.  They were later sealed for time and eternity in the Logan Utah Temple.

He worked as a welder for Yesco sign company and White Truck.  He loved to go fishing along all the wonderful rivers here in Utah.  He had a very large Elvis memorabilia collection that he showed to everyone who came to visit.  He liked collecting coins and stamps, metal detecting and body building when he was younger. He also really enjoyed painting ceramics.

Steven died peacefully in his home with his wife by his side, on October 17, 2021 to “have another day in paradise”.
