Steven L. Lindsay, 62, of Finksburg, died Friday, August 21, 2015, at Carroll Hospital. Born Jan. 29, 1953 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Louise Moreland Lindsay and Gerald Lindsay, Sr.
Before his illness he was a tile layer and cabinet maker. He was a past member of the VFW and Littlestown Eagles. He was a member of Church of Latter Day Saints in Eldersburg. He enjoyed family, hunting, fishing and motorcycles.
He is survived by daughter Heidi Wenner and husband Butch of Boonsboro, granddaughters Chelsea and Harley Wenner of Boonsboro and great-granddaughter Adalynn Grace, sisters Tammy Lindsay and wife Hazel Graybill of New Windsor, Donna Sutphin of Finksburg, and brother Gerald “Jerry” Lindsay, Jr. of Finksburg, nephews Michael Stephens and wife Nickie of Finksburg, Kelly Stephens and wife Kasey of Finksburg and L. Wayne Bennett and wife Charity of Westminster, great-nieces Shayla Stephens of Finksburg and Britney Bennett of Westminster, and great-nephew Daniel Stephens of Finksburg.
He was predeceased by a son Garrett Lindsay.
