STEVEN MEYER, beloved husband of Maria Ambrosiano Meyer, loving father of Nicholas Meyer, son of the late Charles and Mary Meyer, devoted brother of John (Marianne) Meyer and Mike (Missy) Meyer, son-in-law of Nick and Betty Kettler Ambrosiano, brother-in-law of Joe (Pam) Ambrosiano, uncle of Robbi Ann (Donnie) Rose, Jimmy, Betsy, and Josie Meyer, Joshua and Jacob Ambrosiano, great uncle of Phoenix and Athena Rose, also survived by aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends. Manager of Bridgetown Hardware, Elder Class of 1979. Died Friday, January 6, 2017 age 55. Steve worked at Bridgetown Hardware from the age of 15 until his passing. Loved throughout the community, he was affectionately known as “The Mayor of Bridgetown” and “Oscar.” Steve never refused a helping hand to anyone he met. Kind and generous, he also had a great sense of humor and knew how to lift everyone’s spirits. But above all, Steve was a family man, and nothing brought him greater joy than coaching or announcing his son’s ballgames, caring for Nick, Betty and Ginny Ambrosiano and cherishing his wife, Maria. Died, Friday, January 6, 2017 age 55.
