Steven Grubb, age 71, of Sherburn, MN and formerly of Burt, passed away on December 17, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN. Steven Robert Grubb, the son of Charles Robert and Donna “Jean” (Gifford) Grubb, was born on November 5, 1949 in Omaha, NE. He was a member of the class of 1968 at Burt High School. Steven served in the U.S. Navy. On May 21, 1983 Steven was united in marriage with Donna Ditch in Burt. He drove trucks for Broughm, worked construction for Roger Boyken, drove bus for Exceptional Opportunities, worked at Service Master, Waste Management and Brand FX. Steven enjoyed garage sales, antiques, fishing, collecting tractors, knives and coins. He especially loved spending time with his grand-kids. Left to cherish Steven’s is his wife of 37 years, Donna; children, Jenny (Lee) Smith of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Stephanie (Joshua) Lowe of Sherburn, MN and Jacob “Norbert” Grubb of Algona; grandchildren, Amelia, Gaby, Emma, Christine, Tayviah, Toreahana, Harper, Frankie and Gable; great grandchildren, Lucy, Luther and Blakely; a brother, Randy Grubb of Des Moines; and sisters, Cathy Wilson of Burt and Pat Long (Shawn Ritchie) of Fort Dodge. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Nathaniel Jarvis; and a great granddaughter, Cambrie Steil.
