Mr. Steven Eugene Chastain, age 53 of Cleveland. Mr. Chastain passed away Monday, November 22, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Chastain was born in Polk County on May 18, 1957 to Edgar Lee Chastain and Gloria Morgan Chastain and spent most of his adult life in Jackson County. He was a licensed electrician by trade and is preceded in death by his father Edgar Lee Chastain and brother Tony Jay Chastain
Mr. Chastain is survived by his son, Richard Melvin Perkins, Rockmart; mother, Gloria Chastain, Cleveland; sister and brother in law, Dixie and Ronnie Sosebee, Cleveland; nieces, Kristi Murdock, Cathy Mayne and Vanessa Mitchell as well as a host of additional nieces, nephews and additional relatives
