Steven Eric Frey, 48, of Independence, Gladesville Community , went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at home surrounded by his family. He was born February 4, 1963 in Morgantown, WV, son of Frances Marie Dobish Frey of Gladesville and the late Dalton Delbert Frey. Steven was a coal miner for Red Bone Mining. He was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, four-wheeler riding and spending time with family and his grandchildren. Steven is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Clarkson Frey whom he married on July 17, 1981;two sons, Ryan Frey and wife Denise of Masontown, Craig Frey of Kingwood: one daughter, Jaime LaRue and husband Justin of Fellowsville; 4 grandchildren, Christopher Frey, Faith Frey, Tyler Frey and Connor LaRue; three step-grandchildren, Ashley Watkins, Whitney Hymes and Brandy Yost; three step-great grandchildren, Zander, Kaylee and McKenzie; three sisters, Rose Sprouse and husband Rick of Fairmont, Cindy Strahin and husband Gene of Gladesville, Debra Weaver of Florida and one half sister, Georgie Foreman of Uniontown PA; and his father and mother- in- law, Bruce and Loretta Clarkson of Fellowsville. In addition to his father, Steven was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Frey.
