Steven Edward Goodson, age 66, of Tennessee Colony, Texas, went to be with his loving Lord in Heaven on Monday, the 27th day of June 2022. Mr. Goodson was born in Dallas, Texas on the 25th day of January 1956 to parents Charles Goodson and Phylis Lemmons Goodson.
Mr. Goodson was a kind and talented man. He was a graduate of the University of Texas, an accomplished photographer, and wrote many articles in various magazines. Mr. Goodson had a love for history and most importantly, the Lord. He was a Christian and a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Palestine.
Mr. Goodson is preceded in death by his father, Rev. Charles Edward Goodson, and wife, Tina Romero Goodson.
He leaves behind his mother Phylis Goodson, of Arkansas; sons, Charles Goodson, and Christopher Goodson, both of Austin, Texas; sisters, Beverly Crain and husband James, of Magnolia, Arkansas, and Kye Kammel and husband Andy, of Houston, Texas; and brother, Paul David Goodson and wife Cindy, of Aquila, Texas. Mr. Goodson is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
