Steven E. Brooks, 53, Anderson, passed away May 31, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born January 8, 1957 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson and Owensboro, Kentucky.
Steven was a 1976 graduate of Heritage Christian High School in Indianapolis and attended Covenant College in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was in management and was a restaurant.
He also worked at Guide Lamp for five years. He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. Steven was a heart transplant recipient of three years and was very active in IOPO.
He is survived by his wife whom he married January 13, 1980, Susan Gosser Brooks; and children, Melissa Joy Brooks Emery Adam of Owensboro, Kentucky, Thomas Scott Brooks of Muncie and Katelyn Elizabeth Brooks of Anderson He was preceded in death by his parents, Emerson & Freida Gloyd Brooks.
