Steven D. Mitchum, 52, of Jonesville, formerly of Kentucky, died Monday, May 30, 2011 at his home. Mr. Mitchum was born March 31, 1959, in Union City, Tenn. to Almus Loyd and Carrie (Watson) Mitchum.
He was employed as a handyman. He married Sheri Janes on Nov. 7, 1992 in Polo, Illinois. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Jennifer Phelps, of Pascola, MO, one son, Jason (Carla) Phelps, of Caruthersville, MO, 4 grandchildren, 4 sisters, Shirley Modene Totty, of Hickman, KY, Linda Raymer, of Union City, TN, Vicky Mitchum, of Gretna, Louisiana, and Ann Denise Sigmund. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Deloma Sue Mitchum, and one brother Terry Loyd Mitchum.
