Steven D. Cowell, 44 of Bloomington, passed away on November 9, 2019 at IU Health Bloomington. Steve was born February 13, 1975 in Bloomington and was the son of Daniel and Angela (Phillips) Cowell and grandson of Chancy and Dola Cowell and Frank (Roy) Phillips and Juanita (Lee) Meadows.
Steve was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed participating in activities with the church. He also enjoyed painting and crafts.
Steve is survived by his father, Daniel Cowell of Solsberry; siblings, Billy and Sanda Leggins of Anderson, Kathy and Rory Westfall of Bloomington and Kristin and Charles Pedigo of Virginia Beach, VA, along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Steve was preceded in death by his mother, grandparents and his uncles Jackie Phillips and Roger Cowell.
Steve will be sadly missed by his family, friends and church family.
