Steven Charles Gerde, 61, passed away Saturday Oct. 26, 2013 in Nineveh. He was a resident of Nineveh.
Steve was born May 2, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Charles and Mary (Oberschmidt) Gerde.
He was employed at Honda in robotics.
Steve enjoyed fishing, woodworking, camping, gardening, watching movies, sports and NASCAR. He loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren.
Survivors include, his wife, Laura (Slatter) Gerde of Nineveh, three children, Scott Gerde and Sarah Borden both of Greenfield and Kimberly(Adam Rice) Trittipo of Greenwood, three sisters, Nancy Gerde of Indianapolis, Patty Gerde of Clayton and Barb Cummings of Ohio, a brother, Rob Gerde of Greenwood and eight grandchildren, Reanna Trittipo, Trevor Sexton, Alexis Rice-Trittipo, Alivia Gerde, Adison Gerde, Codey Borden, Carson Borden and Phoenix Rice.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Gerde.
