Muncie – Steven A.
Steven was born in Muncie on February 2, 1957, the son of Edith (Griffin) Shimer and Marvin O. Shimer; and was a graduate of Muncie Central High School.
Mr. Pruitt proudly served in the Army National Guard for over 30 years. He ran for Muncie Centrals Special Ed. Track Team. Steven also enjoyed playing pool.
Survivors include his mother; a sister, Susan Pierce, (husband-Tim), Muncie; a nephew, Matthew Pierce, Muncie; a niece, Megan Pierce, Indianapolis; two step daughters, Crystal Dearduff, and Nancy Cantrell; two special friends, Bradley and Pearl Stewart, Muncie; and a special uncle, Gene Shimer, (wife-Patty), Muncie.
He was preceded in death by his father; and his wife, Mary Pruitt.
