Steven A. Lehr, 59, of rural Grand Ridge passed away at his home on April 22, 2014.
Steven was born on November 19, 1954, in Ottawa, to William and Ginger (Wade) Lehr. He graduated from Ottawa Township High School in 1973. He farmed in Grand Rapids Township. Steve married Laurie Pandolfi on September 11, 1976 at St. Columba Church in Ottawa. He was a member of the LaSalle County Commissioners Associations, Grand Ridge Volunteer Fire Department – retired, LaSalle County Farm Bureau, Ridge Round UpTractor Club, Pine Hills Golf Club and was also active in 4H. Steven was also the Grand Rapids Road Commissioner and a South Prairie Park District commissioner.
Steven is survived by his wife, Laurie, his father, William (Kim Mackiewicz) Lehr, of rural Streator, a son, Keith (Alicia) Lehr of Grand Ridge, a daughter, Lisa, at home, 2 grandsons, Brayton and Kamden and 5 siblings, Pam (Todd) Aldridge, of Creston, Bonnie (John) Kinzer, of Utica, Lorna (Geno Pisaneschi) Lehr, of Grand Ridge, Rick (Karla) Lehr, of Grand Ridge and Brian (Melissa) Lehr, of Grand Ridge. He was preceded in death by his mother Ginger, and his grandparents. Pallbearers will be Brad Kain, Josh Rudnicky, Chaz and Sam Pandolfi, Tim Kinzer, Bryer, Baley and Dane Lehr and Brandon and Nathan Hettel.
