Steve O Dell Holland, 68, of Calhan, CO. was born on June 10, 1952 in Cleburne, TX and passed away on May 6, 2021 in Aurora CO. Steve Graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School and Johnson County Community College in Overland Park. KS. After receiving his associate’s degree, Steve joined the United States Marine Corp in 1975, serving in two wars, Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom. In 2004 Steve retired as a Master Sergeant.
Steve worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a Machinist, the Denver Rio Grande Railroad as a Machinist/Supervisor, Union Pacific Railroad as a manager, and worked as support crew for the train mechanics on the (1997) movie “Switchback” with Dennis Quaid and Danny Glover.
Steve’s hobbies included hunting, target shooting, working on cars, story teller with servant’s heart. He was also a member of the NRA, VFW and RNC.
Survived by his wife Constance Holland of Calhan, CO; daughter Rhiannon (Michael) Bugno of Fresco, TX; son Seth (Amy) Holland and granddaughters Annabelle and Emma Holland of Longmont, CO; son, Eamonn Holland of Euless, TX; stepdaughter Rachel Wyatt, grandsons Ethan and Brennen (Yelena) and granddaughters Jordan and Nealy of CO; stepson Jeremy (Heather) Burke and grandsons Thomas, Bryce and Timothy of Wasilla, AK; stepson Jared (Susan) Burke and granddaughter Trinity of Cheyenne, WY and grandson Taylor (Haylee) and great-granddaughter Primley of Eielson Air Force Base (AFB) in Fairbanks, AK ; stepdaughter Rebekah Burke of Berthoud, CO; sibling Joel (Sandra) Holland, Cynthia (Ted) Dicob, Darrell Gene (Janice) Holland, Vernon (Dalnita) Holland, and Karen (Bob) Stirewalt.
Predeceased by his parents Darrell ODell (Patsy Ruth) Holland; paternal grandparents Harry and Viva Holland-Davis; maternal grandparents Edgur (Julia) Pipes; niece Angela Holland and grandchildren Jevan and Kylee Burke.
