Sterling Adam Fridinger, age 92 of Parrs Ridge, Westminster died Saturday June 27, 2009 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. He was born July 16, 1916 in Manchester the son of the late William A. and Mamie Therit Fridinger. He was the husband of Edna I. Taylor Fridinger his wife of 67 years. In his early years, he worked on the family farm and a short time for Bethlehem Steel. In 1946 he started working in the clothing industry first with Webster Clothes, then Schloss Brothers and retired in 1981 after 40 years in the clothing industry from Jonathan Logan Butte Knit. He was often used as a model for the clothing industry. He was a member of the International Ladies Garment Union. He was a lifetime member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church and served on the church council several times.
In addition to his wife he is survived by siblings, Mamie Koontz of Hampstead, Hazel Leese of Melrose, Daisy Sisler of Westminster and Richard E. Fridinger of Manchester.
He was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Howard, Raymond and Bert Fridinger, Helen Hosfeld, Mary Rippeon and Selma Stem.
