Mr. Laminack died Thursday, June 16, 2016, in a Waco Hospital.
Mr. Laminack was born December 4, 1919 in Gorman, the son of Stephen W. Laminack, Sr. and Jessie (Vance) Laminack. He attended Rice University and served in the U. S. Coast Guard. He was a Mason. He was a real estate agent for many years. He taught boxing, supported the FFA and was the first to use artificial insemination for hogs. Also Mr. Laminack was a AKC Dog Breeder and a chinchilla rancher.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Anne Laminack. He married Kay Harris, in 2000.
Survivors include his wife Kay Laminack of Thornton, sons Greg Laminack of Temple, Stetson Laminack of San Antonio and Rodney Laminack of Mexico; one daughter Stephanie Martin. Nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
