Steve was a talented, creative soul who loved his family and friends, all fast things, and preserving/treasuring his life’s memories and collections. From custom-made Pedal Cars for his boys to the first stereo he bought at age 18, Steve saved it all. Steve treasured his hometown roots (West Milton, Ohio), but also enjoyed a time in the big city of Las Vegas, NV.

Steve loved old ‘80s Las Vegas and cruising the strip with his sons in his beloved 1957 Ford Wagon. He appreciated the glimmer of the old neon lights and playing rock-and-roll as he cruised the Las Vegas Strip, Red Rock loop, Hoover Dam, and every place in between.

Steve loved to video tape everyday life, leaving behind many family videos and home movies for us to treasure.

Throughout his life, Steve loved to play basketball with his sons and grandsons from the time they could hold a ball. He loved the intricacies of model airplanes, cars, and rockets and had the delicate touch needed to complete them. Steve liked going out in a field and igniting them with his kids/grandkids, with the kids running to retrieve it. He enjoyed car shows and appreciated the beauty of the paint job. Steve could lay down a beautiful set of flames or murals on cars, motorcycles, snow mobiles. Anything you can think of, he painted it. Steve even painted an AIRPLANE!

Music was the soundtrack of Steve’s life – so many concerts, mixed tapes, music playing in the house, and at every event.  Steve loved sharing music with his boys especially Joel playing Guitar and singing! Steve loved motorcycles, from motocross in his younger days to cruising on his Harley. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, minibikes, Go Karts, bicycles – anything with wheels!

Steve was dearly loved and will be missed by all.

The Family would like to send appreciation to the ICU Nursing Team at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead Kentucky, specifically, Justin, for their love and care of Steve and compassion for the Family.
