Stephen W. Leslie, 57, of LaSalle, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Mr. Leslie was born April 16, 1954 in Chicago to Arthur and Ida (Ganger) Leslie. He married Deborah Vowels on July 27, 1991 in LaSalle at the First Baptist Church of LaSalle, where they are members. Survivors include his wife, Deborah; his mother Ida (Ansil) O’Connor of Belding, MI; four brothers Dave (Margie) Leslie and Paul (Deanie) Leslie both of Belding, MI, James (Sandi) Leslie of Ft. Knox, TN and Dave (Bonnie) Krummen of Florida; a sister Melody Stehley of Wisconsin and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and one aunt.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Leslie and two sisters in infancy Pallbearers will be his brothers, Dave, Paul, and James Leslie and Dave Krummen; his brothers-in-law, Mark and Matthew Vowels; and Tim Iwanicki and Alex Tiethoff.
