Stephen Robert Simon (Steve), 73, beloved husband, father, brother & friend, passed away on January 6, 2016, in Cumming, GA, after a courageous battle with cancer. Steve was born on March 26, 1942, in Perth Amboy, NJ, to Stephen Louis and Ann Marie Simon.
Steve graduated from Albright College in 1964 with a BS in Economics. He played football and baseball during his college years. Steve was an integral part of the 1960 Albright Lions football team, the first and the only undefeated, untied team in Albright College history of 150 years. Steve was selected to numerous All-Star Teams during these four years. His NCAA record of 9 interceptions in 1960 stood for nearly 40 years. He was a respected, loyal, and trusted friend to many. Steve then attended West Virginia University where he received his MBA.
Steve went on to achieve a very successful career as a management consultant for various companies throughout North and South America. During his retirement years, he enjoyed his second career as a real estate consultant specializing in lakefront properties.
Steve loved to play golf, football, boating and exploring many lake and beach destinations. His favorite past time was reading, watching college & professional football games and golf tournaments.
