Stephen Burnham passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 11, 2015 at his home in Taft, CA after a battle with COPD. Stephen Burnham was born in Taft, CA on October 21, 1946. He was the second son of Major and Florence Burnham and a brother to John Michael and Andrew Robert Burnham. He is survived by his children, Catherine (Burnham) Georges and Kyle Burnham. His three granddaughters, Alisa, Delaney, and Avery Georges also survive him. Stephen Burnham worked as a US Postal carrier in Taft, CA until his retirement in 2005. Stephen was also a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Air Force Branch. Stephen had many interests including golf, volunteering at the American Legion, camping in Yosemite, barbecuing, watching sports and (of course), drinking beer. He was also an avid San Francisco Giants fan. His family, friends and neighbors will miss Steve.
