Stephen P. Anderson, 65, of Palmetto passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Steve was born July 24, 1956 in Winder, GA. He was preceded in death by parents, William James Anderson & Mary Jo Penland Anderson Davis and siblings, Tony Anderson and Carmen Stamps. Steve grew up on Jekyll Island where his love of the water and outdoors began. He enjoyed being outdoors boating, fishing, and target practice. He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force where he was attached to the Strategic Air Command. Steve was devoted to his church, First United Methodist Church of Palmetto where he was a member for 34 years. Steve retired from the Krystal Company as a maintenance supervisor after 30 years. Survivors include wife of 38 years, Kay Gosdin Anderson; son, Brian (Laura Leigh) Anderson of Senoia; daughter, Ashley Linch of Grantville; grandchildren, Luke Anderson, Jace Anderson, Taylor Linch, Ryleigh Linch; sister-in-law, Connie Anderson; nieces and nephews.
