Stephen Patrick Meagher, a resident of Beacon, NY, passed away July 29, 2022 at his home; he was 73 years old. He was born in Montreal, Canada on February 3, 1949, son of the late Robert Emmett Meagher and Kathryn Frances (O’Connell) Meagher. He was a graduate of McGill University (BA, MA) and The State University of Buffalo (PhD)
Stephen was a professor of English at Orange County Community College in Middletown , NY, where he worked until his passing.
Stephen is survived by his son, Molalign (Mola) Meagher, and his wife, Stacey Penlon. His brother Richard Meagher also survives him.
Along with his parents, Stephen was predeceased by one brother, Michael Meagher.
