Stephen Monroe Haller, 74 of Grafton passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018. He was born December 24, 1943 in Moatsville, WV, he was the son of the late James Lee and Dorcas Weaver Haller. He is survived by his loving wife Gloria Ann (Campbell) Haller of 53 years, they were married January 9, 1965.
Steve graduated from Grafton High School Class of 1963. He was a member of the Fellowsville United Methodist Church. He was a Correctional Officer for the North Central Regional Jail. Steve loved fishing, hunting, camping, volunteering at the Grafton Fire Department. He was a handyman to anyone that needed help and the greatest joy of his life was his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Tammy Haney and her husband Richard, Summerville, SC, and Teresa Hannah and husband Daniel, Morgantown; seven grandchildren, Randi, Nick, Garion, Stephen, Randy, Dustin, Mitchel, and Anastasia; one brother, Eddie Haller, Grafton, one sister, Juanita Bierlair, Deerfield, OH; several nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog “Miles”.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, David Hannah, one brother, Freddy Haller; two sisters, Portia Coberley and Madge Jones.
Friends will be received at the Fellowsville United Methodist Church on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 1-2PM.
