Stephen Phillips Leonard, 62, of Birmingham, AL, and Miramar Beach, FL, passed away on March 25, 2010. Stephen was in the US Navy from 1967- 1970, and served in Vietnam. He was a Certified Management Accountant and graduated from UAB. He worked for Liberty National Insurance and then as treasurer of Vesta Insurance until he retired in 1997. Steve will be remembered as trustworthy, honest, kind and a true gentleman. He was preceded in death by his mother, Flora Mae Phillips Leonard Snuggs; father, Thurman “Pete” Leonard; and step-father, Edward C. Snuggs.
