Stephen Lee Richeson, 82, a lifelong Anderson resident, passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, after a long illness. He was born December 31, 1938, to John W. and Martha Richeson.
Steve was a graduate of Madison Heights High School and served in the Navy after graduation. He worked in the family business, Kirkman’s Gift and Jewelry, until its closing.
Stephen later founded Richeson Trucking Company which he managed until his retirement.
Stephen was preceded in death by his wife, Vicky Nixon Richeson of Middletown. He is survived by his sisters, Merrily Piepho, Marietta, GA, and Pamala Murray, Houston, TX, and four nieces and nephews.
