Stephen L. “Steve” Todor, 77, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Steve was born on January 8, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Alexander S. and Mary (Turk) Todor.

Steve was a member of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity at Indiana State University, where he received both a BS and an MBA. He later worked as a quality manager for Aearo Technologies, a division of 3M, for more than 20 years until his retirement. In his free time, he could often be found relaxing in the backyard watching wildlife. He enjoyed taking family trips to Hawaii and never turned down a chance to go fishing at his favorite vacation spots, Ft. Morgan, Alabama and Sanibel Island, Florida.

Steve was a die-hard sports fan at heart. He ran cross country and played basketball as a student at Cathedral High School and always loved playing basketball at Hinkle Fieldhouse. He later coached basketball and little league baseball. He loved supporting his favorite football teams, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Indianapolis Colts, and attended the Indy 500 every year since he was a child. Most of all, Steve treasured watching his sons’ cross country meets and basketball games and going to see his grandkids’ sporting events, choir performances, and school plays.

Steve was a loving father and a wonderful grandfather. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. He cherished celebrating Christmas together every year and always made the holiday special. His children will forever remember him at bedtime wishing them goodnight with a “Lahko noč!”

Steve is survived by his wife, Marsha Lee (Lovell) Todor of Greenwood, IN; his two sons, John Stephen (Dawn) Todor of Ft. Wayne, IN and James Lovell (Karyn) Todor of Trafalgar, IN; his four grandchildren, Kaylin, Jackson, Emily, and Avery Todor; his sister, Marilyn (Quentin) Quinn of Greenwood, IN; his nephews, Jeff and Chris Quinn and families; his mother-in-law, Sarah Lovell of Indianapolis, IN; his sister-in-law, Bonnie Lovell Burton of Cincinnati, OH, and his niece, Suzanne (Mark) Sroka of Somerville,
