Stephen K. Patton, 72, of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. Stephen was born March 5, 1948, in Centralia, the son of Clarence Patton and Ellen (Thouvenin) Brown.
Stephen is survived by one son: Derek Patton of Centralia; one granddaughter Shayde Patton of Du Quoin; and one niece: Misty Comstock of Missouri.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence Patton and Ellen Brown and his brother: Michael Patton.
Stephen served in the U.S. Navy from 1968 to 1972. He was the former Commander of the V.F.W. Post 2055. He had retired from Rockwell/Cambridge after a number of years. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He was also of the Christian faith.
