Norwich – Stephen Harry Metro, 72, of Donahue Dr., died Sunday evening August 7, 2016, in the Wm. W. Backus Hospital. He was the loving companion for the last forty years of Theresa A. Riley. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Stephen and Caroline (Doud) Metro.
Mr. Metro worked in the maintenance department of Falvy’s Auto Group for many years. He enjoyed collecting knifes, skulls, and black cars.
Stephen is survived by his companion Theresa A. Riley of Norwich, sons Stephen Metro and Michael Riley both of Norwich; a daughter Caroline Lindsey of New Jersey; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and a great grandson. He was predeceased by a daughter Tracey Mattews; and three sisters Mary Caroline Mierzejwski, Elizabeth Russell, and Nancy Smith.
