Stephen “Steve” H. McDougall, 73 of Ft. Wayne passed away in Lutheran Hospital on May 21, 2021.Steve was born to the late Henry Jr. and Almira (Jackson) McDougall on July 11, 1947 in Ft. Wayne. He graduated from New Haven High School in 1966. After graduating he started working at Zollner Corp..He retired in 2002 with 36 years of service from Karl Schmidt Zollner Division Ft. Wayne.
After retiring Steve enjoyed his summers at Steinke Resort where he had many friends. He loved to fish, tell a good story and play cards. His biggest passion was tinkering in his garage. He was a Colts football fan and loved watching racing especially NASCAR. Above all he was extremely proud of his sons and his grandchildren.
Steve is survived by his loving family. His wife Colleen (Coney), his sons and six grandchildren; Mike (Angie) McDougall of Ossian IN, Matt (Leslie) McDougall of Lakeland FL, Kevin, Dana McDougall of Plant City FL, Austin, Kayden, Brianna, and Wyatt McDougall of Lakeland FL. A sister Sue (Keith) Tumbleson of New Haven; nieces Tasha (Ryan) Shirm of Ft. Wayne, Tara (Scott) Welch of Ft. Wayne and his brother-in-law James Bobay of Ft. Wayne.
