Stephen F. Holmes passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 2, 2018. Steve was born on December 14, 1949, to Jack and Ernestine Holmes in Deming, New Mexico.
Steve graduated in 1967 from Deming High School and New Mexico State University in 1971.
Steve retired in 2015 from The University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, Texas.
He is survived by his children Cheri Holcombe and husband Alan of New Braunfels, Tx. and their children Kaitlyn Braune and husband Kyle and Hunter and Hayden Holcombe. Stephen Holmes and their wife Sarah of Dallas, Tx. and their children Oliver and Jasper.
Steve is also survived by his father Jack Holmes of Deming, New Mexico, and his siblings Susan Rutland of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Jeff Holmes of Phoenix, Arizona, And Jill Holmes Of Deming, New Mexico as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
