Stephen Fenton, 89 of Silver Ridge Park East, section of Berkeley Township died on Saturday March 30, 2013 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in New Salem, PA he lived in Nutley, NJ and Union, NJ before moving to Silver Ridge Park East in 1987. Stephen served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a member of the VFW in Bayville, NJ and the Elks Lodge in Hillside, NJ. He worked as an Operating Engineer for Local 825 in Newark, NJ.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Karen Ann Fenton Nizolak in 1998. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Lorraine A. Fenton; his children Stephen L. Fenton and his wife Karen of Springfield, NJ, Kenneth Fenton and his wife Irene of Oceanport, NJ, six grandchildren Jennifer, Stephen J., Kenneth Jr., Stacey, Sheri and Samantha; and five great grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters Rose Zerniak of Rochester, NY, Helen Cerrachio of Whiting, NJ, and Emily Sulik of Northfield, NJ.
