WATERBURY — Stephen D. Kozak, 79, of the Elton, died Monday May 18, 2009 at Crescent Manor. He was the widower of Elizabeth (Lawlor) Vierra Kozak since 1996.
Mr. Kozak was born on August 4, 1929 in Bridgeport, to the late Stephen F. and Irene (Navin) Kozak. Stephen served his country for three years during the Korean War when joining the U.S. Army. He retired from NottinghamTowers in which he worked in maintenance and as a welder for twenty-two years.
He is survived by a step son, Frank Vierra of Waterbury, two step daughters, Delphine Vierra and companion James Beaudoin of Prospect, Elizabeth and her husband Robert Couture of Oxford, and two grandchildren Gina and Christopher Vierra of Wolcott.
