Stephen Craig Mitchell, born September 1, 1946, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 surrounded by his family.
Steve was the son of Edward and Alice Mitchell (both deceased). He is survived by his wife of 56 years Patricia (Fergason) Mitchell and his sons Brent Mitchell (Damary) of Franklin, Shane Mitchell (Isabelle) of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Jason Mitchell (Rachel) of Tampa, Florida.
He is also survived by his brother, Tom Mitchell of Taylorsville, Indiana and sister Barbara Smith of Hempstead, Texas. Steve had nine grandchildren: Eleni, Emma, Evan, Caroline, Ella, Caleb, Lily, Nate and Luke Mitchell. Steve was the owner and founder of Artistic Granite in Indianapolis.
