Stephen Betts, 79, of Trafalgar, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in Trafalgar.
Stephen was born on April 20, 1942 in Greenwood, Indiana to the late Harold and Pauline (Bullock) Betts.
Stephen was an avid outdoorsman and loved to garden, mushroom hunt, and, in his younger years, climb hills on his motorcycle. He enjoyed flying RC planes and belonged to a RC flying club. Above all, Stephen was a loving father and a wonderful grandfather. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Stephen is survived by his two sons, Scott Betts of Bargersville, IN and Doug (Regina) Betts of Trafalgar, IN; his three grandchildren, Adam Betts of Trafalgar, IN, Brian (Leah) Betts of Greenwood, IN, and Courtney (Chris) Brind of Wantage, England; his four great-grandchildren, Felix Betts, Colbie Brind, Cora Brind, and Aurora Adams; his three brothers and three sisters, Linda Henry, David (Linda) Betts, Becky (David) Poynter, Bobby (Marsha) Betts, Suzi (Art) Hurt, and Randy (Jenny) Betts.
