Stephen A. Nogiec, of New Britain, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Hospital of Central CT, New Britain. He was the beloved husband of Delores “Meg” (Kukish) Nogiec. Born in New Britain, son of the late Stephan and Ludwika (Kot) Nogiec, he was a lifelong New Britain resident. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He retired from Lydall, Inc. in Hartford formerly Superior Steel Ball Bearing Co. in New Britain. Stephen was also a member of Northwestern TGM Memorial Post and the VFW in New Britain. Along with his wife, he leaves his daughter Debbie Adams, his two grandsons, Damon T. Adams and Aaron Adams and his fiancé Kristin Alvarez all of New Britain. He also leaves his sister Helen Jachimowski of New Britain and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
