Stephen McGregor, 64, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 1:50am Thursday, December 15, 2005 at Hospice House, following an illness.
He was born on February 8, 1941 to the late Stephen and Alice (Buczkowski) McGregor in Columbus, OH, and has lived his whole life in South Bend.
Mr. McGregor retired in 2003, as an accountant, from Hansel Center, after 15 years of employment.
On September 13, 1969, he married Sandra L. Maier at St. Augustine Catholic Church in South Bend, IN. She survives.
Along with his loving wife, of 36 years; he is survived by one brother, Michael (wife Madelaine) McGregor of Belmont, MI; two sisters-in-law, Joan Young of Elkhart, IN; Alice (husband Steven) Poseley of Elkhart, IN; three nieces, Melissa (husband Michael) Healy of Greenville, MI; Natalie Rose of Elkhart, IN; Jenny (husband William) Nash of Mishawaka, IN; two nephews, Michael (wife Gayle) McGregor of West Bloomfield, MI; and Nick Young of California.
Mr. McGregor was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, where he was very active. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran; and a 1966 graduate from Indiana University.
