Stephanie Nicole Montgomery Short, 27 of Albright, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015. She was born on December 14, 1987 in Kingwood, daughter of Lisa Ann Durr and husband Timmy of Albright, and Brian John Montgomery and wife Stephanie, Glenville, WV. Stephanie attended Preston High School and was a kind and free spirted. She loved to hunt and spend time with family. Stephanie is survived by three children, Hunter Short, Mason Reckart and Preston Hayes; one sister, Eleanor “Ellie” Montgomery and husband, Larry Gibson, Masontown; one brother, Trey Durr, Albright; two step-sisters, Dusty Burkley and spouse, OH, Kayla Strawdermen and spouse, Petersburg; two step-brothers, Josh Montgomery and spouse, Morgantown, Christopher Durr, Albright; several aunts, uncles, two nieces, Dililah Wilson and Harley Wiles; two nephews, Tripp Gibson and Tony Wiles. Stephanie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul Edward and Mary Pauline Barker McGinnis, John and Eleanor Weaver Montgomery.
