Stephanie Kay Mitchell, 61, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed on peacefully to meet her Heavenly Father at her daughter and son-in-law’s home on February 18, 2018.
Stephanie was born September 5, 1956, to Ray LeRoy West and Mary Afton West in American Falls, Idaho. She grew up and attended school in Pocatello and Idaho Falls. She graduated from Skyline High School in 1975. She was in the Army Reserves from 1985-1986.
Stephanie was employed in the restaurant industry in her early years and then moved into the medical profession as a sleep lab technician.
She met Mike Conrad and they were married and had a beautiful daughter, Elizabeth. They made their home in Idaho Falls and were later divorced. Stephanie later met Brent Mitchell. They were married for 23 years. They were later divorced.
Stephanie enjoyed skiing, snowmobiling, water-skiing, white-water rafting, fishing, camping, horses and trips to Mexico. She had a great love and was very passionate for her daughter, Elizabeth; son-in-law, Nick Platisha; granddaughters, Taylor and Tayina; as well as her two yorkies, Izzie and Dante.
