Stephanie Martin, 85, of Bethlehem Township and formerly of Edison, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedarcrest. She was the wife of Joseph Martin, with whom she shared over 65 years of loving marriage.
Born in Croatia, she was the daughter of the late Jakob and Katherine (Plattner) Kopf. She immigrated to the United States, and worked for Indiana General, assembling parts for the Apollo space program, and later as a product inspector for Beecham Pharmaceuticals. She was a loving mother to her family, and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, where she was a greeter and a member of the ladies group.
Survivors: husband Joseph; son Alan M. Martin and his wife Elaine of Flemington, NJ; grandchildren Amy Messick, Jason Martin, Christopher Martin, and Jonathan Martin; 5 great-grandchildren. Stephanie was predeceased by her sons Frank J. Martin and David G. Martin, and by her brother Frank Kopf.
