Stephanie Bell Andrews, a lifelong resident of Philadelphia, PA passed away on June 23, 2018 at the age of 79. Stephanie was born on October 11, 1938Stephanie served on the boards of numerous organizations, including The Fairmount Park System, PhiladelphiaHorticultural Society, and she was a member Philadelphia Ethical Society. She and her sister Bronwyn were the owners of a very successful Chestnut Hill eatery in the 70’s. Stephanie loved to garden, read and travel and she was a huge fan and supporter of the Philadelphia Orchestra.Stephanie was always true to her love of Philadelphia and often said “My heart still sticks to the good red bricks, for I am a city child.”Preceded in death is her dear husband Rev. Charles Andrews, her children Charles Andrews Jr and Judith (Andrews) Gates. Stephanie is survived by her daughter Jane (David) Schwartz, her son-in-law Geoff Gates, her daughter-in-law Beth Andrews, her son Mark (Lori) Rubenstein, her sister Bronwyn (Bill) Bird, her brother Kit Bell and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
