Stephanie Ann Young was born December 18, 1977, to the parents Edrick Young and Karen Young.  Stephanie  was a very smart and energetic child. As a young girl she spent a lot of time with her younger brother, Ricky Young, Jr. and her cousins. She was inquisitive, mischievous, and always wanted to know,  “Why?”. She grew up in the Bronx, New York with her family and attended John F. Kennedy High School, where she earned honors and was the head of her class. Stephanie  was truly a scholar and an avid reader.  She could read anything in a dash. She earned a full scholarship to Fordham University.

As life happens, Stephanie  became a young mother to her 1st beautiful baby girl, Ileana. Although things weren’t always easy, Stephanie  dearly loved her daughter to the fullest. She experienced life with some ups and downs, but it was sure to never break her. Three years later she gave birth to another beautiful  daughter, Khalia, and five years later, she gave birth to her son, Khalil.

In 2012, Stephanie  moved to Indiana to embark upon a new life.  She has touched the lives of many people in the very short time she spent here.

Her laugh and smile would light up an entire room, and her laughter was very infectious. She would not allow you to be sad or upset around her. She had the type of personality that commanded respect and attention when she entered any room.  Stephanie  would never allow anyone to put her in a box, and she challenged anyone who thought that they could do so. She was a lover of life, absolutely loved the water and always had a great time.

Stephanie should be remembered for her love of life and her family. She lived her life for her and anyone around her was destined to have a great time.

Stephanie Ann Young departed this life May 12, 2019, ath the age of forty-one years four months and fifteen days.

Stephanie  leaves behind to celebrate her life:  her mother, Karen Young; her father, Edrick Young; her three children, Ileana, Khalia and Khalil; her grandmother, Anne Anderson; four siblings, Edrick aka “Ricky”,  Akilah, Kayla, and  Tyler; her partner, Allen Hannon and the fathers of her children, Carlos Brickle and Garrett Danglar, who continue to be an integral part of her children’s lives.

Rest in heavenly peace, until we see you again!
