Stephen C. Nold, age 76, longtime resident of Milford and beloved husband to the late Sandra Arndt Nold, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Milford Hospital. Born on October 24, 1934 in Milford, he was the son of the late Willam and Irene O’Neill Nold. He was a graduate of Fairfield Prep and attended Fairfield University. Prior to his retirement, Stephen was a printer with the Milford Citizen and the Knights of Columbus. He was a dedicated and longtime Milford Little League Coach and a member of the Fairfield Gaelic Club.
He is survived by his children, Walter W. Nold (Lilly) of Milford, Laura Mitchell (Richard) of Milford and Stephanie Plunkett (Larry) of Milford, six cherished grandchildren, Stephen Nold and Stephanie Boggess, Amy Fedigan, Rich Mitchell, Molly and Bradford Plunkett, four great-grandchildren, Liam, Tierney, Seamus and Norah Fedigan a brother-in-law Rick Arndt and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a sister Adeline Mars.
