Stella “Stasia” (Zadrozny) Lacic, 69, of Vernon, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 13, 2015. She was the beloved wife on Jozef J. Lacic for 43 years. Born in Poland, daughter of the late Stanislaw and Jozefa (Deptula) Zadrozny, she came to the U.S. in 1965 and was a longtime Hartford resident before moving to Vernon in 2008. Stella was a member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Church in Hartford and retired from Okay Industries to take care of her husband and family. A selfless woman, she always made time to help everyone and do things for others, never complaining. She loved going out with family and friends and dancing, but above all, she loved her grandchildren whom were her pride and joy. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she leaves her son John Lacic and his wife Iwona of Suffield, her two daughters, Cecilia Oliveira and her husband Marco of Simsbury, and Bozena Schrank and her husband Christian of Redmond, WA, and her five grandchildren, Kaleena Lacic, Baby girl Lacic who is on the way, Dante Oliveira, and Christian and Ava Schrank. She also leaves her siblings, Marianna Zadrozny of Bristol, Jozef Zadrozny and his wife Irene of Windsor, Stanley Zadrozny and his wife Elizabeth of South Windsor and Teresa Siuda Dziubasik and her husband Stanley of Enfield, many nieces and nephews and her dear friend Helena Kurpaska of New Britain.
